Writing a good logical essay is not easy, and many students struggle to construct the framework and arguments for their essays. Classic tips such as "read a lot and write a lot," "write short sentences," and "organize your writing logically" cannot be enough. To write a good argumentative essay, students should first design a framework for logical development based on critical thinking.

We have taught the process of writing a logical argumentative essay based on TOCFE thinking tools to students from elementary school to college in South Korea, and the results are fabulous.

We will share our experiences of teaching students how to write logical argumentative essays using this process.
